Multi-agent AI equity research · NSE & US markets

Nine AI analysts
argue about a stock
so you don't have to.

Fundamentals, valuation DCF, technicals, sentiment, events, flows, macro, governance and risk — each judged by its own specialist agent, attacked by an adversarial bear agent, then scored by a deterministic rubric. Every claim links to its evidence.

  • ◆ Two independent verdicts: SHORT_TERM (2-8wk) & LONG_TERM (3-5yr)
  • ◆ Nine specialist agents, an adversarial Bull vs Bear debate, and a verification gate that strips unsourced claims
  • ◆ A Founder Desk that answers only from the company's own filings & calls — every claim source-linked
  • ◆ An AI advisor that cites its sources & charts its own answers
  • ◆ Trade journal with daily P&L and a dashboard-style Excel export
  • ◆ A decision layer — position sizing, exit strategy, and asymmetric regret framing on every call

Everything one research desk should have

Eight capabilities, each backed by its own contract, its own evidence, and its own confidence score — not one model asked to do everything at once.

⚖

Nine-agent pillar analysis

Fundamentals, valuation (scenario DCF), technicals, sentiment, events, flows, macro, governance and risk — each scored independently, then combined by a deterministic, auditable rubric. The model explains the score; it never picks it.

⚔

Bull vs Bear AI debate

A genuine back-and-forth: the bear attacks the bull's actual argument, the bull answers back, and an impartial judge — blind to both agents' instructions — scores the exchange. "Too close to call" is a legitimate verdict.

🏛

Founder Desk

Ask a company why you should invest. Answers are drafted only from its own filings, earnings calls and investor letters, then a verification gate strips any claim, quote or chart figure that can't be traced to a source.

🔎

Research desk — 8 more tools

Hidden Risk Detector, Earnings Call Analyzer, What Changed Recently, Leadership Track Record, News Impact Score, Explain Like I'm 15, Similar Companies, Contrarian Detector — each a live web-research call with its own confidence rating.

🧬

Stock DNA

A nine-trait fingerprint — growth, profitability, returns, leverage, cash quality, stability, resilience, value, momentum — computed deterministically, free, with zero model involvement, so two companies are always measured the same way.

💬

AI financial advisor

A chatbot scoped strictly to investing questions, with session history, cited sources, an optional deep-research mode, follow-up suggestions and charts drawn directly into its own answers.

📓

Trade journal

Log trades with full buy/sell validation, see live daily P&L and concentration risk, and export everything as a formatted Excel workbook with its own dashboard sheet, charts and formulas.

🔐

Transparent usage, real security

A visible daily/monthly credit meter, tiered plans, email verification enforced server-side, and a strict content-security policy — nothing about how the system reasons is ever exposed to the page you're looking at.

See it in action

Real output from the live system — nothing staged.

How Equity Analyst actually works

The short version of our research methodology — the rules that make the output checkable rather than just confident-sounding.

01

Python computes. The model only judges.

RSI, DCF, beta, drawdown, growth rates — every number is produced by unit-tested deterministic code and handed to the agents as a fact. A numeric claim that isn't in an agent's input is treated as a bug, not a feature.

02

Nine specialists judge independently.

Each pillar agent only sees its own slice of data and produces its own confidence and coverage score — so a thin-data pillar can't quietly drag down one everyone trusts.

03

An adversarial pass, on purpose.

The bear case is not a paragraph added for balance — it's produced by a separate agent explicitly instructed to try to kill the investment thesis, using the bull's own argument as its target.

04

A verification gate strips what isn't grounded.

Before anything reaches you, every claim, quote and chart figure is checked against its cited source. What fails is dropped and logged — not smoothed over.

05

A deterministic rubric decides — not the model.

The final action comes from a documented, tunable weighted rubric in code. The model explains the number; it never gets to pick it. Confidence is calibrated from evidence coverage, freshness and inter-agent disagreement — and the system can abstain outright when the data doesn't support a call.

About

Equity Analyst is a multi-agent AI research system for Indian (NSE) and US equities. It doesn't ask you to trust a single confident answer — it shows you the evidence behind every claim, and tells you what it removed when the evidence didn't hold.

            How this works

A retrieval agent pulls the company’s annual report, earnings calls, filings and executive statements. A composer drafts the answer using only that material. A verification gate then strips every claim, quote and chart data point that cannot be traced back to a source.

Why it’s not a fake founder

This desk answers as the company’s investor-relations function, not as an impersonation of a real person. Executives’ own words appear only as marked verbatim quotes with a link to where they said it — never invented, never paraphrased into quotation marks.

                About Equity Analyst

Equity Analyst is a multi-agent AI research system for Indian (NSE) and US equities. It doesn't ask you to trust a single confident answer — it shows you the evidence behind every claim, and tells you what it removed when the evidence didn't hold.

                Nine specialist agents

Fundamentals, Valuation (scenario DCF), Technicals, Sentiment, Events, Flows, Macro, Governance and Risk each judge the stock independently, then an adversarial Bear agent attacks the Bull case before anything reaches you.

                Python computes, AI interprets

Every number — RSI, DCF, beta, VaR, drawdown, P&L — is computed in unit-tested Python. The models judge those numbers; they never produce them. A numeric claim that isn't in the input is treated as a bug.

                Verified, not just generated

The Founder Desk retrieves a company's own filings and calls, drafts only from them, then runs a verification gate that strips any claim, quote or chart figure that can't be traced to a source. The grounding score tells you how much survived.

The rubric decides, not the model

Final BUY/HOLD/AVOID calls come from a deterministic weighted rubric — auditable and tunable — not from an LLM's opinion. The model explains the score; it doesn't pick it.

A decision layer, not just a verdict

Position sizing from a Kelly-criterion calculation, a one-page decision memo, an asymmetric regret framing, and a Devil's Historian that checks this thesis's shape against known failure patterns — every figure they cite is computed before the model sees it, never invented after.

                Checkable, not just confident-sounding

A "what would flip this call" panel computes the exact pillar-score move that would change the verdict — not a guess, an equation.

                What's new

                v1.16September 1, 2026
                • Long research now runs in the background. Start a Bull vs Bear Debate (or any tool) and hit "Run in background" — keep using the app, and you'll get a notification in the corner the moment it's ready, with a button to open it.
                • Redesigned the sector results table — score bars, a clear top pick, and readable columns instead of a plain grid.
                • "Browse by sector" now collapses once you've picked a company, and a new ✕ button next to the company clears it and brings the sector browser back.
                • Fixed several layout issues on phones, and tooltips no longer get cut off at the edge of the sidebar.
                v1.15September 1, 2026
                • Fixed: the Compare and Advisor tabs now use the same full width as every other tab.
                • Advisor chat history now gets a short, auto-generated title (e.g. "Tata Steel Debt Risk") instead of showing your raw question in the sidebar.
                v1.14August 31, 2026
                • New in Journal: Portfolio digest — deterministic flags per holding (near a 52-week extreme, RSI stretched, earnings coming up, down from your cost basis).
                • New: Why did my portfolio move? — live web research on whichever holdings actually moved your day P&L, not every position.
                • New: Earnings calendar — next earnings date across your holdings and starred stocks, soonest first.
                • New: Your track record — every Analyze call made on your own account, graded against what actually happened, separate from anyone else's.
                • New: Watchlist alerts — set a price or RSI threshold on any stock from its Analyze page; get emailed once when it fires.
                v1.13August 30, 2026
                • Redesigned navigation — the top menu is now a collapsible sidebar on the left, with icons, a one-click collapse to an icon rail, and a slide-in drawer on mobile.
                • New sign-in — a 6-digit emailed code instead of a sign-in link, entered on the same page with a 90-second resend timer. No more switching to your email client.
                • Added a "Read on Medium" link next to LinkedIn on the About page.
                • Fixed: Run All Research now includes the Outcome Projector and its price reflects the full 8-tool bundle.
                v1.12August 5, 2026
                • New in Research: Browse by sector — pick a sector and a market-cap tier (large / mid / small) and see a scored, ranked shortlist of companies with charts, a Recommended pick, and PNG/CSV export. Free, instant, no credits.
                • New research tool: Outcome Projector — pick an amount and see a computed bear/base/bull range for what that investment could look like in the short term and the long term, grounded in the stock's own volatility and scenario DCF — always a range under stated assumptions, never a single guaranteed number.
                • Fixed: the "What went wrong?" reasons picker in the Advisor chat now always appears directly under the 👍/👎 buttons instead of at the bottom of the message.
                • Removed the Track Record tab.
                v1.11August 4, 2026
                • Fixed: the AI Advisor could answer "what's the price right now" or "what's the latest news" questions from its own outdated training memory instead of real data. It now automatically looks up the live price, key fundamentals, and dated recent news for any stock you ask about before answering — every chat mode, not just Deep Research.
                • Ask the Advisor to compare stocks (e.g. "TCS or Infosys?") and it now grounds the comparison in each company's real current numbers.
                v1.10August 4, 2026
                • A refresh icon now sits right next to the live price on the Analyze page, so you can pull the latest price on demand instead of waiting for the automatic update.
                v1.9.1August 4, 2026
                • "Run all research" now shows the full individual price struck through next to the discounted price, so the savings are obvious at a glance.
                v1.9August 4, 2026
                • New: "Run all research" on the Research tab — every tool for a stock in one click, for 30 credits instead of the 35 it costs to run them one at a time.
                • Fixed: explanation popups throughout the app could get clipped or drift off-screen near the edge of a card or panel. They now always position themselves to stay fully visible, everywhere in the app.
                • Removed the "suggested follow-up questions" from individual research tools — they now only appear where they're actually useful, in the AI Advisor and Founder Desk.
                v1.8.2August 3, 2026
                • Fixed: the explanation popups on the short-term/long-term verdict cards (composite, confidence, conviction) were getting cut off on narrower screens, sometimes showing only the middle of the sentence. They now always render in full.
                v1.8.1August 3, 2026
                • Fixed: the pillar-scores chart on the Analyze page was cramped into too little space, cutting off labels like "Technical" and hiding "Risk" entirely on normal desktop screens. It now always has enough room to show all nine pillars clearly.
                v1.8August 3, 2026
                • New decision layer on the Analyze page: a one-page verdict memo, Kelly-criterion position sizing weighed against your existing portfolio, an asymmetric regret framing, and a Devil's Historian that checks this thesis's shape against known historical failure patterns.
                • New Research tools: Consensus Delta (what does this system know that the current price doesn't already assume), Timing/Entry (buy now, stagger, or wait for the next earnings date), and Opportunity Cost (buy this instead of what you already hold).
                • Bull vs Bear Debate now has a "Referee this debate" option that extracts the handful of points the whole verdict actually hinges on, instead of you having to read both sides yourself.
                v1.7August 3, 2026
                • New "Track Record" tab — every verdict this system has made gets checked against what the price actually did afterward, once enough time has passed to grade it honestly.
                • Every analysis now shows why the short-term and long-term calls disagree, pillar by pillar, when they pull in different directions.
                • New "What would flip this call" panel — the exact, computed pillar-score move that would change the verdict to the next band up or down.
                v1.6August 3, 2026
                • New: Exit Strategy — a concrete plan for when to get out of a stock you already own, with a short-term (2-8 week) view built from price and technical levels and a long-term (3-5 year) view built from fundamentals and valuation. Available on the Analyze page and as a Research tool.
                • The sign-in screen no longer shows the email or password from your last session after you sign out.
                v1.5August 3, 2026
                • A one-time disclaimer screen now appears before first use, so it's always clear the Service is a research tool, not investment advice, before you see anything else.
                v1.4August 3, 2026
                • Every report now shows exactly when its data is as of, and flags any fields no source had available for that run — no more wondering how fresh a number is.
                • Fixed: starring a stock from Research, Founder Desk, or Compare now updates instantly, the same as it already did on Analyze.
                v1.3August 2-3, 2026
                • Sign up with just your email — click the link we send you, no password to invent, nothing to verify separately.
                • Compare Stocks is now its own tab: line up up to 5 tickers side by side, real numbers only, no narrative.
                • "Today's movers" — if you don't know what to search for, pick from the day's biggest gainers and losers right on the Analyze and Research tabs.
                • A live price ticker with the 52-week range, right under the stock name.
                • Thumbs up/down feedback on Advisor answers now confirms it was received.
                v1.2July 29-30, 2026
                • Light and dark theme — switch anytime from the icon next to your profile; it's remembered next time you visit.
                • Recent analyses and recent research now sit in a sidebar that stays on screen as you scroll, instead of a scroll-to-the-bottom list.
                • Cleaned up several confusing or hard-to-read tooltips.
                v1.1July 28, 2026
                • Stock comparison tool: line up several companies' fundamentals, valuation, and risk metrics side by side.
                v1.0Initial release
                • Nine specialist AI agents analyze a stock, argue it out in an adversarial bull vs bear debate, and reach two independent verdicts — a 2-8 week short-term call and a 3-5 year long-term one.
                • Research desk with ten focused tools: Stock DNA, Hidden Risk Detector, Earnings Call Analyzer, Bull vs Bear Debate, What-If Calculator, and more.
                • Founder Desk — ask a company's management why you should invest, answered only from their own filings and calls.
                • AI financial advisor with cited sources and optional deep research.
                • Trade journal with live P&L and a formatted Excel export.
